An exciting opportunity has become available for an Engagement Consultant to work in our Mirrabooka based Contact Centre, these positions are full time and fixed term until 2020.

Engagement Consultants are responsible for the servicing, placement and transition of job seekers into sustainable employment, providing a high quality, individually tailored remote servicing in a Contact Centre environment.

This position would best suit someone with employment services background looking for a change or anyone who has previously worked in a contact centre environment looking to enter the industry.

About the Job:
You will undertake a variety of remote servicing, quality assessments and remote appointments with every jobseeker you work with and;

  • Encourage and motivate job seekers through appropriate activities to find their own employment;
  • Contact job seekers from various caseloads so see whether they have found employment and provide assistance as required;
  • Assist and follow through on all job seeker requests within a 24-hour turnaround and;
  • Assist with coordinating appointments where required.

About You
Your demonstrated ability to develop high quality, individually tailored customer service, will be complemented by your:

  • Sound Telecommunication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an outcome based environment toward high performance results;
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities to manage competing priorities;
  • Experience keying and sourcing data into and from databases;
  • Current Police Clearance (no greater than 6 months old) or ability to obtain one and Working with Children Check;
  • Experience in the JobActive contract or within a Contact Centre environment will be highly regarded.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as required
  • Contact Centre operating hours are between 7am and 7pm - successful applicants will be required to be flexible to work within these hours when required.
