About the role
MTC's Employment Services division delivers the jobactive contract as a member of CoAct. We are dedicated to generating opportunities that empower and encourage people to find gainful employment and make a positive contribution to their community.
The Workforce Partner will assist job seekers to obtain and sustain employment outcomes that match their individual skill, abilities and vocational goals by providing full support at all stages of their relationship with MTC. This includes continual assessment, providing career planning advice, case management, post placement support and ensuring that job seekers have access to appropriate service streams.
You will gain success through:
Building and maintaining effective relationships with local employers, identifying new and ongoing employment opportunities, securing sustainable employment outcomes for both employer and job seekers and developing a strong understanding of the local labour market
Develop strong relationships with job seekers, both face to face and over the phone, to understand their placement potential and the actions needed to assist them to be job ready
About you
You're a people person and customer focused
You love achieving personal and professional goals
You thrive on placing people into work and reaching sustainable employment outcomes
Can work autonomously and prioritise workload
Have experience in the employment services industry or demonstrated transferrable skills e.g. Community service, Sales, Customer service experience
Hold a current and valid driver's licence
Knowledge and application of jobactive contract and guidelines is desirable but not essential
