An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced individual to join the Hunter Centre based in Broadmeadow, Maitland and Berkeley Vale offices as Relationship Educator specifically to run the Family Relationship Education and Skills Training Program (FREST).
The work is suitable for qualified professionals experienced in running group work/education programs for children/adolescents, men, women and families.
The successful candidate may be required to work outside of normal office hours (i.e. after 5pm and weekends).
About the role
Some of the responsibilities of the successful candidates will include:
- To provide quality client service in Relationship Education Groupwork programs, including working with individuals (men, women and children), couples and in some instances whole families
- Able to engage with the LGBTI communities
- To work as part of a team to develop the Relationship Education program and courses
- To actively promote Relationship Education services within RANSW's integrated service provision model.
About the successful candidate
This is a 6 months fixed term position working 3 days per week and the successful candidates will have:
- A background & experience with complex, challenging client situations including family and domestic violence and child protection.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability and commitment to work as part of a team.
