Are you looking for a role in an organisation that not only gives back to the community, but has a strong brand that has been around for over 80 years? Police Citizens Youth Clubs NSW is committed to empowering youth by working with the Police and the community.

 

  • Permanent Full Time
  • Up to $75K plus Super

This position presents a unique opportunity for you to drive the delivery of commercially sustainable youth programs and activities. The emphasis for the Club Manager will be on best practice delivery of youth programs and activities and staff leadership and motivation.
Through strategic planning, and the execution of marketing and communication initiatives, you will identify opportunities and build customer engagement to optimise use of the facility and increase revenue streams. Your ability to develop and deliver innovative solutions and provide superior service to key user groups will ensure high levels of retention and satisfaction, and steer the venue to its projected growth.


You will work closely with the onsite Police Youth Case Managers in delivering on the PCYC Mission.
You will have

  • A minimum 2 years’ experience in a relevant industry in the area of recreation, sport management or community development.
  • The proven ability to lead and inspire teams of people and provide tools for staff development.
  • Sound financial management skills and proven record in achieving / exceeding business targets
  • Awareness and understanding of the barriers facing young people
  • A demonstrated ability to work in collaboration and partnership for the improved outcomes of young people.
  • High level problem solving and effective, autonomous decision making skills
  • Demonstrated high level of customer service and the ability to positively network and collaborate with internal and external community stakeholders to drive community engagement and customer experience

  • Business and Operational Planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting
  • Financial Management
  • Staff supervision, training and performance management
  • Development of Youth Programs and Activities
  • Compliance with health and safety legislation
  • Asset Management and Facility Presentation
  • Quality Assurance and Customer Service excellence
  • Community Development and Liaison
