The Role
CatholicCare is seeking a part time Quality Manager to work 3 days per week. The successful candidate will work with CatholicCare’s leadership team to provide strategic direction relating to the development of policy, implementation of systems and processes and support programs including WHS on an ongoing basis.
- Oversee and provide quality, accreditation and policy support to Division Managers within CatholicCare in relation to the accreditation programs, external review processes and the implemlentation of recommendations.
- Preparation of quality related reports
- Assisting with compliance and regulatory requirements of services delivered.
- Perform reviews, assessments, quality assurance activities, and testing, against policies, procedures, regulatory and legislative requirements, best practice, and strategic objectives.
- Implementation of systems and processes for consistency and quality initiatives, examples include CareLink and Triline.
- Training and support for introduced quality measures and new policies.
- Policy development and/or supporting managers to produce quality CatholicCare policies.
- Policy controller including policy register, review processes and version control.
- Policy gap analysis, identifying policy owners and supporting development in identified gaps.
- Liaise between the executive team and program managers to implement strategic objectives relevant to quality.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- And any other relevant duties as directed from time to time.
Key Requirements
- Experience with the implementation of systems and processes
- Experience with policy development, review and version control
- Experience identifying gaps in policy and supporting development in identifying gaps in existing policies.
- Relevant quality qualifications in line with ISO 9001: 2015
- Understanding of how to conduct safety and/or quality audits
- Experience working with accreditation and/or certification bodies
- Developing policies and procedures
- Ability to drive change and continuous improvement
- Ability to partner with managers and programs
- Certified practitioner against quality (desirable)
