The objective 
MADEC's Indigenous Wellbeing Support Program (IWS) is to assist our indigenous clients who may be experiencing difficulties with drug and alcohol abuse, criminal justice system or violence.

The role
This role works with the clients of the program to identify the support needed and coordinate a plan of activities and goals for each person. Referrals are made to mainstream and Indigenous services and clients are kept engaged through ongoing case management. Constructive relationships with other service providers are essential to promote the IWS service and keeping clients engaged to achieve a positive outcome.

About you
We are seeking applicants with experience working with Indigenous or community projects, with a strong understanding of the timelines and performance indicators of such programs. You have effective communication and relationship building skills to work with your clients, service providers and within the MADEC team. Excellent administration skills are needed to maintain the program and deliver reporting requirements. Above all else, you are dedicated to making a difference in the indigenous community and achieve positive outcomes with your clients.

This is a temporary parental leave replacement position for up to 6 months.
