About the company
We have partnered with a NFP provider of individualised support within the scope of disability across Victoria. They are a well-established organisation with significant experience in the NDIS and disability sector which focus on providing a tailored service for each person and each of their unique needs. The client also encourages connectivity with the community and promotes greater choice for the individual inline within their NDIS plan. The client also inspires a greater focus on learning and cooperation with its staff and volunteers.
About the role
The primary aspect of the role is to work within a larger team to assist NDIS participants to greater control and choice within each of their NDIS plans and to include a larger engagement within the greater community. The Support Coordinator will be responsible for assessing progress, promote best practice approaches, write activity and development reports and actively encourage participant engagement.
What we are looking for

- At least two years prior experience in working with NDIS
- NDIS participant encouragement toward goal setting, upskilling and control for NDIS supports
- Assess, plan and write up reports and case notes based on activity from individuals with complex needs
- Proficiency with report writing and literacy with computers essential
- Ability to engage, motivate and coach disabled individuals with variety of complex needs
- Individuals with extensive communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time manage skills
- Promote best practises in line with NDIS legislation and framework, and ensure funding is fully utilised for participant
- Undertake any further reasonable tasks under client
- A qualification in Social Work, Nursing or Allied health would be preferred
- A current drivers licence
- A current working with children check
- National Police check
