About the opportunity  

When passionate people team up, they can make a real difference in the lives of others.That's why, we're looking for Casual Disability Support Worker as committed to providing extraordinary experiences to our customers as we are, to join our team, providing 1-1 support to clients in the Central Coast area as well as working at our supported independent living facility.  

Each one of our clients is unique and deserves to be supported by someone who shares their interests as they make their own choices about the life they want to live. We’re looking for someone who is as exceptional as the people we support; we want to know who you are and what your passion is because we know how important it is that you love what you do. Working across a 7-day roster, no day will ever be the same as you: 

• Support people in all areas of their life, from daily living to helping people access the community or increase/maintain their independence
• Think creatively to achieve customer goals. You’ll engage with individuals, their families and other services to support people with a disability to live the life they want
• Work flexibly and adapt to every individual as hours of work and locations vary to meet our clients evolving goals

About You

• A VET Certificate III in a relevant study or the equivalent knowledge/experience
• Experience implementing person-centred plans and providing support to people and their families
• Sound knowledge of the issues involved in working with adults, children and their families with a disability
• Experience working with people with disability

• Demonstrated experience using a CRM system to maintain accurate and up to date records
