At the Salvation Army Employment Plus (EPlus), our experienced employment teams have been empowering people to find the right job since 1998 as part of the Australian Government's Employment Services network. We've worked with over 200,000 businesses across Australia and seen well over half a million Australians successfully placed in employment.
As a Job Coach in our high performing team, you'll be responsible for supporting a client group of over 200 candidates to develop their job seeking skills and build their confidence by facilitating group learning sessions. Through understanding the unique skills and experience of your client group, you'll be able to work with the Recruiting team to ensure they're moving to suitable employment effectively and efficiently.
Your in-depth knowledge of the employment opportunities in your local community will be achieved through building successful working relationships with local employers and will ensure you are able to source vacancies for your job ready candidates.
Once your candidates have moved to employment, you'll be keeping in contact with them and their employer for the first three months in their new job to ensure they both have everything they need for your candidate to maintain ongoing employment.
To be successful in your new role with us, you'll:
- Be driven by having clearly measured targets and achieving them in a fast paced environment;
- Have proven experience in providing training to small groups; and
- Have an ability to develop effective partnerships with clients that lead to financial results.
