KinCare is seeking experienced disability professionals to join a dedicated team of workers providing support to people with disability in the home and in the community. If you have a genuine passion for disability and always put the customer at the centre of service delivery, then KinCare would like to hear from you.
The Role
Our Disability Support Workers will be required to provide support with:
- Community, Social & Recreational Activities
- Assistance with Daily Life
- Live In Care
- Assistance with Self-Care activities (showering, dressing, grooming & toileting)
- Post -Hospital Care
- Overnight care
- 24 Hour Care
- Incidental domestic tasks
This role will be based in the South and West Regions of South Australia. This will include travel in a 25km radius from your home suburb to surrounding suburbs.
To be successful in this role we require availability between Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat & Sun 6am till 11am or 4pm till 11pm.
Requirements:
- Certificate III or IV in Disability
- Current Manual Handling and Medication Management (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Registered Vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance
- Smart Mobile and Internet Access
