TeamHEALTH has become the leading not for profit provider of mental health services in the Top End of the Northern Territory. TeamHEALTH has provided outreach services, support and advocacy for Territorians with mental illness for over 30 years.
The aim of the Child and Family Wellbeing Service is to support children and young people who are showing early signs of, or are at risk of developing a mental illness, to improve their wellbeing and enable them to better participate in their communities and reach their full potential.
Reporting to the Mental Health Promotion Manager the Team Leader provides overall management and leadership of the Child and Family Wellbeing Service. They will work with the Manager to develop, implement and deliver the Service in the target areas. The Team Leader will provide leadership, supervision and mentoring to the Coordinator, located in Katherine, and Key Workers, located in the Palmerston/Litchfield Region.
Possessing qualifications in a relevant health or welfare area the successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in the management and delivery of services applying a strength based approach and have demonstrated competence in a range of interventions relevant to children and young people.

This position is a contract to 30 June 2020.
The successful applicant will be required to have a current National Police Certificate, Working with Children Clearance and NT Driver's Licence.
