TeamHEALTH has become the leading not for profit provider of mental health services in the Top End. of the Northern Territory. TeamHEALTH has provided outreach services, support and advocacy for Territorians with mental illness for over 30 years.
The Adult Supports Stream aims to provide a range of Programs focused on increasing opportunities for recovery for adults whose lives are severely affected by mental illness. The aim is to support recovery, reduce social isolation and other practical supports to increase independence in the Community.
The Recovery Assistance Program provides outreach based support aimed at increasing independence and wellbeing through practical supports and community participation.
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Mental Health Recovery Worker provides outreach support to participants using the psychosocial rehabilitation framework, with a focus on supports that are person centred, recovery focused, strength based, timely and culturally appropriate.
Possessing qualifications in community services, mental health or related area, the successful applicant will have experience in the delivery of services to people with mental illness and an understanding of the recovery model and psychosocial rehabilitation.

The successful applicant will be required to have a current National Police Certificate, Working with Children Clearance and NT Driver's Licence.
