Our Abervale Retirement Village, located in Grovedale, is currently seeking enthusiastic, committed and reliable Emergency Response Attendant to join the team on a casual basis. You will provide holistic, safe, quality service to our residents. Your role will generally include onsite response to Village emergency calls, with some further requirement to perform hospitality duties, resident activities and reporting. Although not finalised, shifts will generally be scheduled during the following timeframes;

  • 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • 4:45pm - 11:30pm

This position will require the incumbent to work as and when required on a casual, rotating roster. Further opportunity to pick up shifts is also available.

With a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, the successful candidate will have proven experience in dealing with the elderly along with the ability to make critical decisions in relation to emergency call outs from residents with a professional and positive approach to work to ensure that all residents’ needs are met in accordance with Lendlease standards and Resident Committee requirements.

To be successful you must have;

  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate ideal (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the aged care and Retirement Living industry
  • Strong customer service focus and a genuine interest in working with the elderly
  • Highly motivated and able to take initiative
  • Ability to report and document as directed and in line with Lendlease requirements.
  • Prior experience in Hospitality and/ or Activities Coordination (preferred)
