CentacareCQ has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Assistant Project Facilitator to join their Clinical & Social Services Team based in Emerald (Maternity Leave Cover 6 month contract, up to 60 hours per fornight).
As part of the Clinical & Social Services Team, the role of the Assistant Project Facilitator (Mental Wellbeing Hubs) works alongside the Project Facilitator (Mental Wellbeing Hubs) to establish, implement and evaluate Mental Health & Wellbeing Hubs in the Central Highlands Local Government Association and the Isaac LGA.
Key tasks of this role will include:
- Raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing supports in the local communities
- Support Hub participants (volunteers) to undertake local activities to contribute to increasing positive mental health and wellbeing for individuals and communities.
- Undertake program evaluation to ensure program is meeting desired outcomes and implement continuous improvement strategies with the Project Facilitator.
Duties will include:
Mission, Vision & Values
- Support a positive culture within the Organisation in line with CentacareCQmission, vision and values;
- Participate actively in formation activities.
Day-To-Day Operations
- Support the planning and delivery of Mental Health & Wellbeing activities including Wheel of Wellbeing (WoW)
- Support and mentor new Wheel of Wellbeing Facilitators (volunteers)
- Assist in the development of resources for project delivery
- Implement program evaluation and continuous improvement
Stakeholder Engagement
- In consultation with the Project Facilitator, (Mental Wellbeing Hubs) build the capacity of established Hubs in the Central Highlands LGA and new Hubs in Isaac LGA
- Undertake service promotion and networking that results in engagement of CentacareCQ
Please note: The successful candidate will be required to participate in an Australian Federal Police check and a Working with children check, prior to confirmation of appointment to the position.
