Position Purpose

The Quality Officer will be responsible for quality and performance activities to support day to day operations in an expanding network.

You will:

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure they are well-informed and are able to access information in order to inform business outcomes.
  • Monitor and ensure business processes and customer service standards are met by the teams to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and embrace the challenges of working in a complex and changing environment.
  • Contribute practical insights to regional performance, monitoring risk and advising on corrective and preventative actions.
  • Provide guidance and support to regional management and service delivery teams, including but not limited, to technical advice, performance reports, and audit reports.
  • Liaise with other internal stakeholders informing them of performance and providing information as requested.
  • A major component of the role will be implementing at a regional level the quality initiatives as determined by the National Office Quality team and framework.

Duties

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and tracking performance, identifying areas for improvement ensuring a customer focused approach to continuous service development and improvement.
  • Undertake internal quality assurance processes, as defined by the National Office Quality framework, including sample audit programs and reports on service delivery quality trend analysis and outcomes analysis.
  • Analyse regional performance against Key Performance Indicators and identify improvements for procedural changes as required.
  • Manipulating and presenting data to contribute to the development of reports.
  • Providing thorough information and effective support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing competing priorities and allocate tasks.
  • Undertaking research and prepares associated reports and correspondence.
  • Providing ongoing feedback to teams to ensure quality outcomes.

It is highly desirable that applicants have an understanding or lived experience of disability.

Entry Level checks will be required for all successful candidates and dependent on the role the appropriate working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may need to be undertaken as per State Legislation.
