Aboriginal Sobriety Group Indigenous Corporation (ASG) has an opportunity for a disciplined Residential Care Worker to work in a residential rehabilitation facility to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women .
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will primarily be responsible for improving clients' physical and mental health outcomes through the provision of culturally appropriate evidence-based AOD treatment interventions. You will also be responsible for enhancing relationships and improving social outcomes for clients, their children, family and significant others.
You will be confident in your administrative and operational skills, as well as your ability to contribute to organisational objectives in a service delivery environment. The ability to make precise, intelligent decisions will be essential to this role.
Experience in working within a multi-disciplinary environment, along with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills is essential, as you will be engaging with clients, staff and external stakeholders. Acting as a positive role model for others, you will have the ability to work in a team and follow organisational policies and procedures.
