Do you have what it takes to be a Service Manager with one of Australia’s leading mental health providers? A position has become available for an innovative and dynamic Service Manager to join our team at the Bendigo Youth Prevention and Recovery Care (YPARC) service of Mind Australia.

The Bendigo Youth Prevention and Recovery Care Service (YPARC) is an exciting component of the mental health service system in the Loddon Mallee catchment. It is a 10 bed service provided in a home like environment in Bendigo, with a stay of up to 28 days.

 

As part of the team at Mind you will:

  • Work full time, 38 hours per week on a fixed term contract with possibility of extension
  • Provide leadership and manage all aspects of the Bendigo YPARC ensuring a high standard of service delivery to clients consistent with organisational values and Mind’s Model of Recovery Oriented Practice
  • Work closely with Bendigo Health as the clinical service provider and form a collaborative and highly functional professional working relationship with the clinical manager and other clinical staff in service delivery to clients of the YPARC

 

You will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health related field as designated by Mind
  • The ability to build strong working relationships in a very new environment
  • Experienced in the mental health field
  • Experienced in working within a recovery oriented framework
  • A positive influence on employees
  • The ability to engage in reflective practice
