Your new employer
The Town has a dynamic future and we are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Community Development Officers (Events) to join our Community Development team. There is one full time permanent and one part time 12 month contract position currently available.
Your new role
You will be responsible for assisting with the Community Development team’s mission of capacity building to deliver the Town’s community and civic events portfolio.
What you’ll need to succeed
Having qualifications in community development and/or event management with a sound understanding of asset-based community development, you will be sourcing grants and sponsorship, researching and undertaking evaluation that supports community-led initiatives, with a place-based approach and continuous improvement.
