About the company
Our client is a leading Australian not-for-profit Aged Care Provider with strong Christian values and a great focus on delivering compassionate care to their clients. They offer a wide range of specialised and progressive services for the elderly in both residential and at-home care sector. This role is based in the Northern Beaches with the main office being based in close to Chatswood.
About the opportunity
Your responsibility as a Home Care Support Worker will be to deliver the highest standards of care to your clients. Whilst receiving extensive support from your organisation this role requires you to use your fantastic problem-solving skills and your empathetic personality to take responsibility and work independently on a day to day basis.
Duties
- Personal care needs, personal hygiene, toileting and grooming
- Medication
- Domestic and household duties
- Meal preparation and eating
- Socialisation, Appointments and Shopping
Skills and Experience
- Cert III or higher in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Individual Support or similar
- Previous working experience or desire to work with the elderly
- Clear Police Clearance
- Full working rights to work in Australia
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and your own reliable, registered, and insured vehicle.
