ACARES is looking for passionate and committed Disability Support Workers to join our organisation. We are keen to speak to people that are interested in establishing a career within the dynamic disability sector.
We have great opportunities throughout the Bayside and South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne for Disability Support Workers interested in supporting clients living in a residential setting.
ACARES has shared accommodation units in the following locations:
- Cheltenham
- Bonbeach
- Carrum Downs
- Frankston South
We are particularly seeking staff interested in taking on day and sleepover shifts.
Mandatory requirements:
- National police check
- Employee working with children check
- Current first aid and CPR certificates
Highly desirable:
- Certificate IV Disability
- Previous experience working in a residential setting
- Experience supporting clients with high care needs
- Current driver's licence and reliable car
- Manual handling training and/or experience
