About the role
A fantastic opportunity exists for a Disability Support Worker to join the team in Broken Hill in a casual capacity. You will be responsible for providing support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing and monitoring Individual Plan’s. 
 
Working in a team, you will facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with service users in a positive and proactive environment. You will be actively supporting their individual needs and creating a safe environment. If you have an interest in outdoor and community activities then this is the role for you! 

Key Responsibilities
  • Day to day care (including personal care) and supervision
  • Community Access & Transport
  • Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
  • Documenting & Progress Note keeping
  • Assisting clients with community and outdoor activities 
Skills & Experience
  • Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • Certificate III Community Welfare, Disability or similar
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities and personal goals of people with disabilities.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
