 About the Service

The Performance and Outcomes Team is responsible for the design, development and implementation of reporting on the impact and outcomes of the Society’s work, including in its Local Area Coordination (LAC) program. The team works with Executive leadership, Program managers, Members and other staff to clearly articulate the purpose of programs and activities, develop indicators that measure performance and alignment to strategy, as well as providing analysis and insight into program effectiveness.

In addition the team supports strengthening performance and accountability for the Society, aligning reporting of outcome measures to its strategy and mission. This includes developing tools to analyse and provide insight on the Society’s data, for the purpose of improved decision making, performance improvement and opportunity management.

 The Role

The Data and Reporting Analyst is responsible for maintaining and developing operational and management reporting, monitoring data for quality control, as well as KPI measurement for both internal and external reporting of the LAC program.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Developing data collection, analysis and reporting frameworks for the LAC Program;
  • Collating and analysing internal and external data to help drive improved business performance;
  • Liaising with district-based staff to reconcile data, identify data and system issues and report on performance;
  • Supporting the streamlining of client data collection, reporting and data analysis process;
  • Managing external reporting processes back to the NDIA.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in data management tools and techniques
  • Excellent computer skills, including competence in understanding and using databases
  • High level of proficiency in MS Excel
  • Strong report development and presentation skills
  • Highly developed analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data and information
  • Ability to work and contribute effectively as part of a team
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality outcomes
  • Ability to organise workload, manage competing priorities and achieve tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present reports to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated high level of personal motivation
  • Willingness to work within the philosophy and ethos of the Society
