About the role

The Accommodation Project Manager will have a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation of the regional business plan and its related projects. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in disability accommodation services and project management expertise. The successful person will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.

The Accommodation Project Manager will provide advice and support local areas with the day to day operation of accommodation services, in line with existing practices, policies and procedures.

You will

  • Support the growth of accommodation services
  • Develop detailed project plans
  • Manage the day to day operations and administration of all projects
  • Support the development of specific proposals and budgets
  • Act as the central contact and project coordinator for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate internal resources and third party relationships for the execution of projects
  • Provide advice and support local managers and staff
  • Ensure new services are set-up and operating appropriately
  • Develop new partnerships and business opportunities

About you

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated high level written communication skills
  • Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills
  • Proven ability in managing projects and delivering outcomes
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Ideally you will have

  • Relevant qualifications in management and disability, health or welfare
  • Previous experience delivering accommodation services
  • Previous experience running projects and delivering outcomes
  • In-depth knowledge of the disability and housing sector
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
