Your Community Health is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Prosthetist to join our Multidisciplinary Oral Health Team on a permanent part-time basis. The Dental Prosthetist will be based at Preston and Northcote sites and may be required to work across all sites.

The Dental Prosthetist is a key member of our Oral Health Team and supports the delivery of high quality care to our clients through the provision of denture services and education. Our Oral Health Team includes Dental Assistants, Oral Health Educators, Dentists, Dental/Oral Health Therapists and Dental Prosthetists; who provide general, denture and emergency care to clients living and working in the Northern Melbourne region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality dental prosthetic services
• Maintain high standards of infection control and OH&S practices
• Provide oral health and denture care advice to clients
• In collaboration with the multidisciplinary Oral Health Team, provide professional advice and treatment planning expertise to achieve the agreed health outcomes for the client.

To succeed in this role you will have:

• A relevant dental qualification entitling you to registration as Dental Prosthetist with AHPRA
• A keen eye for detail and ability to consistently provide high quality denture services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work cohesively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Good time management skills
• A commitment to customer service excellence and continuous quality improvement
