About the role
You will play a key part in supporting children and adults with disability to fulfil their goals such as living independently in their home, participating in community activities and events and pursuing their personal passions and interests. There are a variety of positions available supporting customers in various recreational, educational, employment, and community and home settings.
The hours of work will be determined based on the unique interests and needs of the customer you support. You will mostly be working 1:1 with customers in a variety of locations throughout various locations with the Perth metropolitan area. A wide range of shifts are available varying from 2-8 hours duration, if you are flexible with the hours you can work, we welcome your application. Customers can also request support overnight such as going on holiday on occasion.
Essential Criteria
To be considered for this rewarding position you must be able to demonstrate:
- Your passion for helping others achieve their potential;
- Your adaptability, flexibility and ability to think on your feet;
- Enjoyment and willingness to work in the community and in customer’s homes;
- That you are comfortable in supporting our customers in their daily life that includes bathing, toileting, dressing, meals, social outings and more.
- Communicate positively with individuals, their family and friends;
