The Opportunity
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Trainer and Assessor to work with our online students. You will be integral to ensuring our students have a positive learning experience, graduate from their course and master the knowledge and skills required for the Childcare industry.
We are looking for a Trainer who has relevant qualifications and five (5) years industry experience.

The Duties & Responsibilities of the role are as follows:-
- Provide an exceptional experience to the student and support their learning experience in the Certificate III and Diploma in Childcare
- Mentor students through their qualifications
- Mark assessments online
- Telephone and email support to students
- Other trainer administrative tasks as necessary
You must be passionate about supporting each student to achieve their goals and complete their studies.
You will have experience with the delivery of Childcare courses at Certificate III and Diploma level. You enjoy working with aspiring childcare professionals and delivering high quality education to students via a cutting edge Learning Management System. You will have a high degree of computer literacy and experience working with a range of programs.
Your Skills & Experience
- You will have a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- You will have a relevant qualification in Childcare i.e. Diploma in Childcare or equivalent
- 5 years of industry experience is relevant for this role
- A passion for helping others and an ability to work autonomously
- An understanding of ASQA requirements
- Previous training experience highly regarded
You will also have:
- Eligibility for membership of relevant membership bodies
- Confident understanding of best practice in the sector
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Permanent residency or a visa that permits full-time work valid for at least two years (copies will be requested)
- Ability to undergo a working with children check, if successful in this role
