At Green leaves Early Learning Centres, we take pride in building innovative and sustainable learning environments and practices in our state of the art, purpose built centres. Our new centre based at Mawson Lakes is an impressive, purpose-built facility with indoor and outdoor environments have been designed and customised to capture the imagination of all children to play, learn, develop and grow.

Reporting to the Centre Director, you will be empowered to engage and deliver a high quality kindergarten program for our Mawson Lakes centre.

Day to day, you will:

• Use your passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom by effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program for our Kindergarten children
• Work as a lead educator to provide creative learning experiences and a comprehensive transition to school program
• Be responsible for the day to day management of your classroom and flexible routines
• Have extensive knowledge of the EYLF, transition statements and understand of the NQF/NQS and work in compliance with all regulations to meet the high standards
• Network with relevant stakeholders in the local community.

You will hold:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
• Minimum 12 months experience in an early childhood setting would be an advantage
• Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications 
• Current Employment Working with Children Check
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to engage and lead children within a classroom environment 
• Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
