A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Early Childhood Educator (Diploma) to join Yawarra Community & Child Care Centre located in Bidwill.

The position is to start in July 2018. The successful applicant will be required to work 40 hours a week Monday to Friday, with an RDO each month.

If you are passionate about educating children in the early years and would like to join our team see the criteria bellow:

The successful applicant will have;

• Diploma in Children’s Services (as assessed and recognised by ACECQA).
• Or actively working towards a Diploma in Children’s Services
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate.
• Have knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) which includes

• Early Years Learning Framework
• National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Education and Care Services National Regulations

• Completed an approved child protection course.
• Demonstrated skills in; programming, planning, documenting children’s learning and reflective practices.
• Current working with Children Check.
• Be forward thinking, creative and eager to take on new challenges and ideas.

Your role and responsibility:

• Observe, plan and evaluate for children’s development while meeting individual needs.
• Implement and maintain all elements of the National Quality Framework.
• Create a stimulating, positive and culturally relevant learning environment.
• Maintain positive relationships with children, families and team members.
• Be committed to ongoing learning.
