About the Centre

• 5 large rooms catering for chiildren between the ages of 6 weeks to 6 years
• Spacious indoor and outdoor play areas with a natural environment
• Close team that work extremely well together and that are with the service for a number of years

Key responsibilities:

• Manage compliance within the centre in an efficient and effective manner
• Guide and support fellow staff members to ensure the highest level of care and education is provided
• Provide ongoing support and assistance in all areas of curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training, marketing and promotion of the service etc
• Build strong relationships with staff and families alike, and to promote and maintain a positive and stimulating environment
• Organise team member rosters as per the award / regulations and ensure team members complete necessary forms. At times you will also be responsible fpr

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Regulations
• Must love working in the Child Care industry and have a real passion
• A passion for developing, planning, and implementing innovative educational programs
• Knowledge and relevant skills in documenting children's learning through observations
• The ability to build warm and respectful relationships with families and children
• The ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment
• Current First Aid Certificate and current Working with Children Check
