The Trainer, Internships & Employment (I&E) is responsible for delivery of training and assessment of students, providing an exceptional learning experience and customer service.

The ideal candidates we seek will ideally have the following:

  • Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;
  • The ability to work on a regular pattern of weekdays and/or weekends
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) or its successor
  • Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed
  • Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs their training and assessment
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching adults utilising adult learning techniques
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Evidence of creating positive group dynamics and managing any classroom incidents in the best interest of the student and I&E
  • Ability to use Moodle Learning Management Software
  • Excellence in maintaining documents relevant for training and assessment
  • Proven ability to work effectively as a member of a team
  • Problem solving skills/solution focused
  • At least 2 years training experience
