Choice Business College, a rapidly growing CRICOS provider with campuses in Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast is looking for trainers and assessors for the following:

• SIT40516  Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
• SIT50416  Diploma of Hospitality Management (Cookery Stream)

The Role

• Deliver and Assess the above qualifications
• Contribute to development of teaching resources
• Support development of training & assessment strategies
• Ensure students satisfaction benchmarks are met or exceeded.
• Participate in and contribute to moderation and validation.

Essential Skills & Experience

• TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher
• Must have a Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or higher in the relevant qualification
• Ability to demonstrate vocational competence in the units delivered in the program
• Monitoring student academic progress, intervention and support of student's progress, ensure student attendance is adequate and intervene when necessary
• Contribute to the design, development and testing of new learning and assessment materials
• Demonstrated industry and VET sector currency and professional development
• Understands different student needs and is passionate about supporting students
• Must be a team player
