Petit Early Learning Journey Burleigh is a purpose built premium Early Childhood Education Centre, focused on the holistic learning and development of children. We aspire to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment that is supportive towards children's social, emotional and cognitive development.  

We would like to invite an experienced & dedicated leader to come on board as an integral part of our Management team.  

We require passionate, friendly and energetic individuals who will be responsible for the following: 

  • Working closely with Educators to promote mentoring and guidance plans

  • Implementing and evaluating educational programs and practices across each Studio to ensure compliance with the EYLF and National Quality Standards while enhancing children's self-esteem and promoting learning and social-emotional development.

  • Developing, implementing and evaluating daily care routines 

  • Direction and support of Educators within the Centre

  • Leading discussion with Educators to reflect on their practice, interactions, intentional teaching and other strategies

  • Involvement in project work with the Centre Manager 

  • Weekly time set aside for Administration training

  • Ensuring a safe and healthy environment is maintained for both Educators and children 

  • Being Responsible Person when Nominated Supervisor is not at the Centre 

  • Ensuring that records are maintained accurately throughout the Centre

  • Ensuring the Centre's policies and procedures are adhered to

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with families and liaise with them about all aspects of their child's education and care including customer accounts; and

  • Opportunity to take on the Educational Leader role in combination with Assistant Centre Manager role

To be successful in this role, the applicant must: 

  • Hold a minimum Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent 

  • Hold a current Blue card 

  • Hold a current recognised First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

  • Experience with Qikkids and CCMS

  • High level of knowledge of regulations, legislation, EYLF, NQF & NQS

  • Be committed to being a positive role model for children and our team by displaying meaningful and quality interactions, relationships and documentation.
