Educational Instructional Designer Role

The Professional Year Educational Instructional Designer is a key member of the Delivery Team. The role is responsible for the development of engaging online learning activities and assessments.

Key duties include, but are not limited to;

  • Instructional design of interactive learning materials
  • Development of eLearning resources and tools in Moodle
  • Development of eLearning assessment tools
  • Provide training and support to trainers
  • Reporting on Moodle outputs

 

About the successful candidate

  • You will have proven experience in instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Experience in the development of online training and assessment tools through the Moodle platform using HTML, desktop publishing and authoring software such as Adobe Captivate and Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop and Illustrator);
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Time management and decision making skills
  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication, influencing and negotiation skills
