THE OPPORTUNITY

An outstanding opportunity for an experienced educational professional with proven leadership and management skills to join our management team.

We are currently seeking a Training Manager - Aged Care & Disability Community Services to join our team on a Full Time basis.

The Program Manager is required to effectively manage and lead a team of Trainers to ensure that Selmar's Training Program for Cert III Individual Support, Cert IV Aging Support and Advanced Diploma Community Sector Management are actively promoted in all client centres. The Program Manager will support the process of sourcing eligible participants, maintaining and increasing student numbers and ensuring the delivery of appropriate, timely and comprehensive programs.


The duties of this role include, but are not limited to;

  • Proactively identify new ways to increase student enrollments in conjunction with the Sales Team
  • Maintain knowledge of client's business, competition, and latest industry news and trends and incorporate changes in the program strategy accordingly
  • Support training team with student counselling and client support
  • Hold accountability for staff resources to ensure the timely delivery of training programs
  • Develop a reporting cycle to Clients and provide consolidated team reports and dashboards

Our selection criteria for this position;

  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment
  • An approved tertiary qualification (certificate, diploma, advanced diploma or degree) that is relevant to one or more of the discipline areas
  • 3+ years experience as a trainer and assessor 
  • 2+ years experience in Account Management and Leadership experience or equivalent
  • Experience in resource management including timetabling, finance, facilities, records management and staffing
