Expression of Interest for Industry Specialists, Educators and Evangelists.
The Wyndham Tech School officially opened 25th June, 2018. Located on Victoria University’s Werribee Campus, Secondary school students and teachers from 18 partner schools in the Wyndham area will access cutting edge technology and specialised programs in this purpose-built co-learning environment. The Wyndham Tech School’s (WTS) innovative education programs will link with local, national and global industry and mentors to deliver real world learning.
WTS will emphasise the vital science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics skills framework that is needed for success in our highly disrupted global economy. It will enhance the programs schools provide, to help prepare students for the jobs of the future.
At WTS we believe the knowledge, inspiration and innovation is within our business/industry community. We are seeking industry specialists, educators and evangelists who have unique skills and want to share their expertise and experience in a hands on learning environment with students and teachers.
We are seeking Expressions of Interest from people who:
- Have a can-do attitude and a passion for sharing their knowledge
- are presently working in or have current experience in one of the fields outlined below
- Have expertise they are willing to share with eager students and teachers
If you have current expertise in one of the following fields:
- Makerspaces
- AR/VR
- UX/UI
- Human Centred Design
- Robotics
- Mobile Development (ARKit and ARCore)
- Industrial Designers
- Furniture Designers
- Animatronic Artists
- Special Effects Makeup
- Wearable Technologists
- Film Television and/or Sound production
