About Status

Status has a 28 year history of providing outstanding Commonwealth and State Government employment and training programs to unemployed and disadvantaged people across the Adelaide region, where we currently deliver training and case management to over 5000 clients each week. In earlier 2017, we expanded our footprint to Western Australia through the awarding of a Commonwealth Government contract delivering the Youth Jobs PaTH employability skills prepare program in Perth North and Perth South, as well the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program at Fremantle, Cannington, Rockingham and Mandurah. More recently we have achieved further success of our Western Australian expansion through the winning of jobactive business to be delivered at our already established locations. We are really excited to be able to showcase our experience as a high performing employment and training provider and further enhance our training platform to deliver successful specific vocational training.

 

The Role

An exciting opportunity currently exists for a skilled Industry Trainer to join our busy RTO through the delivery of Individual Support. You will play a vital role in the overall success of our Organisation and  have:

  • previously delivered Aged Care and/or Disability training
  • strong links and current experience working within the Aged and/or Disability Care industry
  • be able to assist in the identification of employment opportunities for trainees
  • an ability to promote trainees to industry and employers

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate proven experience in training and employment in Aged and/or Disability Care, display strong initiative and a willingness to support and facilitate long term outcomes. You will have a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, relevant industry qualifications or demonstrated equivalence and a current relevant Police clearance and Working with Children Check.

A background working with disadvantaged clients, would be strongly considered, but is not essential. So, if you are loyal, ambitious and highly organised with excellent administrative, computer and communication skills and are looking for your next challenge, then this could be the role for you!
