Job Description
About the Role and what you can expect
  
Employed by Laureate Education Services Australia Pty Ltd to support the operational functions of TUA and/or TC; The International Admissions Officer will provide high-level administrative support in relation to student admission processes. The role involves critical administrative tasks associated with the on-boarding of students from application through to registration, with a focus on accuracy of data, and compliance with internal and external processes and procedures.  The International Admissions Officer will provide advice to internal and external stakeholders in relation to admission processes, award of credit transfer, and relevant policies and procedures.
  
Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accurate processing, assessment and issuing of admissions documentation within agreed turnaround timelines, international admission requirements and international admission procedures and standards
• Communicating outcomes of admission requests to required stakeholders
• Ensure students records and data in PRISMS and other governmental databases are maintained and accurate
• Ensure all agent and student queries are dealt with in a professional and expeditious manner
• Ensure Compliance with Admission Policy Requirements and Australian Government Legislative Requirements (ESOS Act, HESA, DOHA etc)

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position within the education sector
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education and/or training.
• Proven organisational skills with an ability to manage competing deadlines while working under pressure
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Effective communication skills and the ability to give direction and follow instruction
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications (e.g. Word, Excel)
• Customer focused and able to deliver to a high level of service to internal and external customers
• Ability to work within existing guidelines, policies and procedures
