Georges River Grammar is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and self-motivated Teacher Librarian to design and implement the operation of the new School library. The successful applicant will demonstrate a desire to fully incorporate the library in the School’s learning culture and will have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in responding strategically to contemporary research, trends and initiatives that support the implementation of educational best practice within their subject area
- Ability to provide high quality teaching and learning programs and activities that are context relevant, promote independent learning and integrate relevant technologies
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Participate in the co-curricular life of the School
- Be committed to ongoing professional learning
- The successful applicant will possess suitable qualifications approved by NESA and have relevant experience as a teacher/librarian.
