St Andrew's School, Walkerville is an Anglican Independent Co-Educational Primary School covering Early Learning to Year 7. After 168 years we are proud of our exceptional student outcomes, rich history and strong community.
Applicants are sought for a full time (1.0 FTE) contract Primary teaching positions from September 3 to December 14, 2018 for a replacement maternity leave contract.
The School is seeking a highly skilled educator who has experience and understanding of Primary pedagogical principles and willing to become an active member of the School teaching staff.
The successful applicants will be motivated to create dynamic environments that ensure every child achieves beyond their perceived potential, competent in the creation of Inquiry Based learning and energised by working with talented staff in a future focused school.
Candidates will be required to meet the following selection criteria:
- Hold a current Teacher Registration in South Australia
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly focused on achieving student outcomes to develop the whole child
- A high level of competency in Primary education
- Supportive of independent education and the School's Anglican ethos
- Supportive of the Reggio Emilia educational principles, inquiry based learning and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme
- Use best endeavours to maintain, promote and advance the reputation and the success of the School
