Are you passionate about the Nursing industry and hold a training and assessment (TAE) qualification? Then TAFE Queensland East Coast wants to hear from you!
As a TAFE Queensland East Coast Teacher, you will contribute to developing and delivering quality learning services to a wide range of customers through:
- Outcome focused vocational education and training (VET) programs;
- Linking with industry, schools and other TAFE Queensland and VET providers;
- Maintaining currency with industry practices, workplace delivery and utilising a variety of contemporary teaching methodologies and philosophies; and
- Providing quality enjoyable and compelling student experiences through continual enhancement and adaption to learning styles
Based at the Sunshine Coast Health Institute, this is a temporary part time position (evening classes) until the 14th December 2018 with the possibility of extension.

Mandatory Requirements
- Possession of relevant vocational qualifications at the level equivalent to or higher than the level to be delivered. This will include a minimum Bachelor of Nursing.
- Current Nursing registration with APHRA
- A minimum of 3 years Post Graduate nursing experience in the Acute Hospital sector
- Currently working within the industry
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) with LLN or equivalent (required prior to commencement).
- Demonstrated current industry skills directly relevant to the training / assessment
