As the Director, Training Assets, you will provide strategic leadership and project management expertise to the management of the state-owned training assets. Working in conjunction with TAFE Queensland and other agencies, the role requires a whole of life consideration to each of the individual sites within the portfolio.

The role oversees a significant portfolio of assets (over $1.0 billion in value representing 47 physical locations) along with an operational budget of approximately $40 million annually including capital program and maintenance program development and management, with direct management of 5 staff members.

In this role you will support the Executive Director, Strategic Advisory to maximise the government's return on investment in vocational education and training infrastructure.

The role will require excellent knowledge of infrastructure planning and asset management, and to apply these in accordance with legislative and government frameworks in a vocational education and training context.

The successful candidate will be able to lead teams successfully, deliver projects to deadlines, demonstrate problem solving skills, and an ability to liaise and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders.
