The Centre:
This community based, not-for-profit centre in the Inner West is urgently seeking a passionate Room Leader to complete their wonderful team!
This centre’s philosophy is focused around play-based learning which incorporates each child’s interests. It is a small centre with under 45 children, ages 0 - 5 years. It is a beautiful centre with such an impressive outdoor area it has won design awards!
The Role:
The role is part-time, permanent, 37,5 hours per week on a rotating roster, Monday to Friday. The position is available for an immediate start, so be quick!
As the Room Leader of the 0 - 2s, you will be responsible for planning and implementing high-quality, stimulating and fun educational programs for the children in accordance with the EYLF and NQF guidelines. Your enthusiasm and passion for educating children will be reflected by this team of professional and welcoming staff. You will be adept at forming positive relationships with families, children and staff. It is a group learning environment where the children are together in the same room for most of the day and they break off into three groups for age appropriate learning so you must be able to work as part of a team.

Role Requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- Preferably at least 1 years’ experience
- Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF
- Vibrant team player
- Excellent verbal and written skills
