About the role:
The Teacher – VCAL provides high quality and innovative course materials and excellent teaching delivery to VCAL students to support student success in VCAL courses and thereby improve their employment and/or educational pathways.

The Teacher - VCAL designs and develops teaching and learning resources including tailoring materials into a range of formats to suit varying learning styles and to develop course related skills

Your skills and experience:

• An approved four year teaching or a postgraduate qualification which includes an adult or secondary specialization teaching methods (with a Literacy or Numeracy major/minor), and a supervised teaching practicum is essential

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/TAE40116) or a qualification at diploma level or higher in Adult Education is desirable

• Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) full registration is preferred

• VCAL Expertise: Current and demonstrated experience in working with and/or teaching young people in adult learning settings
