At Poppi's Preschool and Long Day Care, we are looking for an ambitious, driven and passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to lead our team in the 2-3 year room who wants to make a real difference to the lives of young children and their families.

Poppi's Preschool and Long Day Care is a brand new, family owned and family run, 43 place centre, offering ambitious, driven and passionate early childhood professionals with unprecedented career opportunities in the Southern Suburbs of Sydney.
Our Beautiful architecturally designed, state of the art facility is located in the heart of the Sutherland Shire, Miranda.
The Role
- 38 hours a week
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with families, children and the centre team
- Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement
- Comply with National Quality Standards and Poppi's policies and procedures
- Ability to drive a positive and respected working environment
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring and building a fun-loving team
- Understanding of Early Years Learning Framework, Social Justice and inclusive practices
- Knowledge of relevant legislative policies, standards and requirements
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be driving the educational program, and mentoring like-minded educators, ensuring the highest quality of communication with parents and all stakeholders. You will work closely with the leadership team to create a high-quality centre by fostering a sense of belonging for children and their families and keeping families connected and a part of their child's development and learning.

Requirements
- A recognised Early Childhood Degree (ACECQA approved)
- Hold a current First Aid qualification and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training
- A current Working with Children Check
- Previous experience in Early Childhood Education essential
