Murdock Early Education Schools - Langford Campus is a BRAND NEW Long Day Care that has opened in the historic Brookman House Building opposite Brookman Primary School in Langford. 

Packed with an abundance of resources our facility inspires educators to be creative and imaginative in a space that hosts character, an amazing outdoor play space unseen like any other service in the area.

The Role:

We would like to invite experienced & dedicated Education Professionals to join our fun and committed team, where you will be responsible for the following: 

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs which will enhance children's self-esteem and promote learning and social-emotional development
• Implement and evaluate programs indoors and outdoors
• Writing observations and analysing children's progression and development
• Responsible for the direction and general supervision of other Educators up to this level;
• Be a confident and active leader of your room team
• Ensure a safe environment is maintained for both Educators and children
• Ensure that records are maintained accurately for each child in their care;
• Develop, implement and evaluate daily care routines;
• Ensure the centres policies and procedures are adhered to; and
• Liaise with families.

The Requirements

• Hold a Diploma in Children Services or ACECQA equivalent 
• Hold a current Working with Children Check 
• Experience with within a recognised and accredited Child Care Facility
• Hold a current recognised Senior First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylactic training or willing to obtain
• Strong proven knowledge of the EYLF 
• Strong understanding of the National Law and Childcare Regulations 
• Enthusiastic, motivated, professional, flexible, and reliable. 
• Ability to use PC and iPads

This role is not for everyone. We expect our educators at every level to be thought leaders who value high quality reflective practice and will go above and beyond in everything they do. 

We will be interviewing over the next 2 weeks and look to hire and induct with a dedicated 2 day offsite induction process in the weeks after.
