About the business
Torquay Kids Early Learning Centre is a 4 room centre that caters for children aged 15 months - 5 years. We are open from 6.30am - 6.30pm. We are a long established centre and well known for the quality of care and education provided to children. The workplace culture is one of great respect for each other and the strengths we all posess
About the role
The position is a permanent part time role up to 37.5 hours per week as an assistant in our Junior Kindy room with two other educators. The role affords educators the opportunity to work in a service that commits to best practice at all times. A genuine love of children and a responsive attitude is required to be successful in this role as is dedication and commitment to advocating for the rights of children. You must possess a good work ethic and be a team player to be a good fit for our centre

Skills and experience
The successful candidate will be minimum Certificate III trained with Diploma trained or studying considered an asset for this role. A good understanding of brain development and the mental health and wellbeing of children is also considered highly advantageous. Experience in a Reggio Inspired service is not a requirement but will be looked upon favourably.
