Premier's Sport Challenge Partnerships Officer - Clerk Grade 9/10 - 205656 Full time ongoing appointment. Location: Darlinghurst (relocating to Parramatta May & June 2019) The Premier’s Sporting Challenge Partnerships Officer manages the development and production of all promotional and collateral material for the Premier’s Sporting Challenge, as well as coordinating partnerships with external groups / agencies. Educational Services Division leads and directs the effective provision of educational, corporate and business services that add value to teaching and learning across more than 2200 public schools in NSW. The Division is responsible for coordinating the development and delivery of quality and responsive policies, processes, services, technologies, or business systems that contribute to maximising achievement for every student in a NSW public school. The overarching goal of the Educational Services Division is the strategic, future-focussed planning and quality assurance of service delivery to achieve equity of access and outcomes for every student regardless of where he or she lives or attends school. The School Sport Unit oversees the Premier’s Sporting Challenge, the Representative School Sport Pathway Program and the School Swimming and Water Safety Program. About the role The position coordinates the promotion of the Premier’s Sporting Challenge across public schools in NSW. The Premier’s Sporting Challenge Partnership officer will have key relationships with the major internal and external stakeholders, including all state and regional school sport associations, state sporting organisations, the Australian Sports Commission and NSW Office of Sport. Candidates who are familiar with sport programs in NSW schools and who can demonstrate experience and high level liaison skills in partnering with external stakeholders are preferred.
