The Avenues Group currently operates 15 high quality early learning centres across Brisbane.

We currently have a permanent part time position available for an experienced and qualified Lead Educator to join our team at our Parkinson centre. The position will be in a toddler room, working with children from 18 months - 2.5 years.

This position is up to 37.5hrs per week, the successful applicant will have availability from 6.30am- 6.30pm Monday- Friday. 

We are looking for an applicant who:

• Holds a Diploma in Children's Services NOT NEGOTIABLE 
• Has minimum 3 years experience in a Lead Educator role
• Has experience working in a toddler room
• Is able to lead a small team of assistant educators

All positions at our centre must have:

• A current and valid Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
• A current Senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• A moderate to high level of computer skills in able to use our online programing software
• The ability to work any shift between operations hours of 6.30am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
