GOTAFE has a great opportunity for a qualified and passionate Nursing Trainer and Assessor to join our Nursing/Health team as the Cross-campus Clinical Placement Coordinator. There is the flexibility to vary your hours and location of work according to your needs in negotiation with the Institute. Full-time position available, however varied EFT availability will be considered.
You will be required to coordinate the Clinical Placement process for Health/Nursing courses offered at GOTAFE. This will also include industry liaison and where required, on-site clinical assessment of students in the Diploma of Nursing HLT54115. Excellent written and oral communication skills and a customer centric approach are essential as is the ability to manage a busy workload.
We are looking for candidates with at least 3 - 5 years of industry experience as a Registered Nurse (RN Division 1) who have a special interest in education.
As the successful candidate you must have:
- A Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 with new credential requirements TAE ASS502 and TAELLN411)
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Division 1
- Relevant tertiary qualifications - Bachelor of Nursing or above
- Significant experience across a diversity of clinical areas including recent acute experience
- Sound knowledge of current industry standards
- A Working with Children Check and Police Check (or currently applying)
- Valid Driver's License
