Our service is seeking a passionate and experienced Director/Nominated Supervisor to join our team. Our current much loved Director is leaving due to family reasons. There will be a transition period where she will remain to assist the successful applicant.
Criteria:
• Minimum of Diploma qualification
• Experience working as a Director or Supervisor.
• Ability to coach and mentor fellow educators.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a positive disposition - Be fun and have a positive attitude.
• Sound understanding of the National Education and Care Services Regulation and Law.
• The ability to monitor and implement changes to centre policies.
• An ability to plan, implement and evaluate an early childhood program, as required by the EYLF.
• Lead the continuous improvement of the service and the development and maintenance of the service Quality Improvement Plan.
• Experience with the Rating and Assessment process.
• A genuine respect for children along with a desire to pursue a long-term career in early childhood.
• The ability to interact positively with prospective families.
• Enthusiasm and passion for leading an amazing team of educators. Dedication to providing excellence in child care education.
Desirable:
• Experience with CCMS & QIKKIDS software
• Great computer skills
• Experience with online program tools
• Knowledge of Abecedarian approach an advantage
